KLRN and Rick Casey Launch TEXAS WEEK
KLRN is proud to provide a (not-so) new home to Rick Casey, in a program launching on January 21...TEXAS WEEK with RICK CASEY. Rick's experience as a journalist, his point-of-view, his insight, and his Irish wit will make this weekly local news and issues program one not to be missed. With contributions and editorial from Texas Tribune's Evan Smith, discussions with local experts, and a "final word from Rick", this program will bring to San Antonio (and South Central Texas) something new, something exciting, and something informative. I enjoy your commentary on Texas issues and have a question. Banamex has opened banks in TX to facilitate banking for Mexican population who have moved to TX, primarily the wealthy population who do not have credit history in the U.S, but do have in Mexico. An upscale area of San Antonio is constructing high-end condo's with this population in mind. How can the wealthy move to the U.S. with what seem to be little to no constraints, but our country is quick to deport the poor? Are the wealthy consuming the quota's for legal immigration to the detriment of the poor? Thanks.
