"About Hunger & Resilience" opened at the Witte museum last year and has traveled to 15 cities around the country. It just had an opening at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia last Wednesday. San Antonio Photographer Michael Nye has been documenting the faces and voices of hunger — those who are newly hungry, others who have experienced hunger all their lives, and some who have known it temporarily but unforgettably. The exhibit is about the nature and experience of hunger in this country. 50 individuals who all speak in his/her own voice about hunger but also about one's larger life experience.
